We are looking for a colleague to support the Legal Department. You will be referring to the Head of Legal, with whom you will have regular contact in your daily work. It is the Legal Department’s job to provide on-time stellar support for the business units and staff functions of the organization.
You will be employed on a full-time basis in Muehlhan Wind Service’s office in Fredericia, Denmark. Through your work, you may be required to occasionally perform work for other legal entities of the Muehlhan group.

Responsibilities
As Senior Legal Counsel / Legal Counsel, your job is to provide competent legal business support and guidance to the organization, with the aim of mitigating risk exposure and heightening general legal awareness, understanding, and adherence.
Contract review and drafting
- Act as the primary Legal Counsel for reviewing commercial contracts and tenders.
- Assist the Sales team with creating set-ups and determining rates for tenders.
- Draft subcontracts, NDAs, and other project-related agreements to ensure they meet legal and organizational standards.
Risk evaluation
- Collaborate with stakeholders in Sales, Operations, and other relevant departments to review and evaluate the contractual and commercial risks associated with contracts.
- Assist departments in determining which risks are acceptable and which are not, using a balanced approach of steadfastness and pragmatism tailored to the specific situation.
Stakeholder collaboration
- Work closely with Sales, Operations, and other departments to ensure a thorough understanding of contractual obligations and risks.
- Conduct post-process follow-ups and evaluations with Sales and Operations to review processes, negotiations, and contracts, aiming to enhance internal procedures and set better prerequisites for future projects.
Claim management
- Support Operations in assessing commercial disputes and customer/supplier claims.
- Prepare communication and arguments for claims.
- Negotiate claims with counterparts, either indirectly or directly, depending on the circumstances.
Qualification and competencies
- Have a background in law and several years of legal experience within a law firm or as in-house counsel.
- Working experience within the listed areas of responsibility.
- Working experience from an international project organization, preferably from the renewables or energy industry.
- Capable of reading, understanding and conveying complex legislative information in layman’s terms.
- Self-driven, structured, efficient in planning your work, and can work effectively as part of a team.
- Thrive in handling structured tasks while staying agile for urgent operational needs.
