TIME TWIN: TWO WIRES, ONE PROCESS

Not for the first time, Fronius has come up with
something brand new: Time Twin, the latest twin-wire
GMA welding process, with which you’ll be welding at
least twice as fast as before. At the heart of this system
are new, extended versions of the microprocessorcontrolled
TPS power sources.

What is absolutely unique here is the two completely separately controlled
power sources, working with two insulated wire
electrodes - in one single gas nozzle and in a shared
weld pool. Likewise, the industrially proven capability of
the twin-wire process for welding aluminium is an
exclusive feature of Time Twin. Our R & D Department
put in a huge amount of intensive work to develop the
welding process down to the last detail. The result:
Time Twin is easier, and twice as fast.
